The rib hanger is designed to maximize the amount of meat your Weber Smokey Mountain can smoke. The vortex plate pairs nicely with the rib hanger to help maximize the total vertical hanging space in your WSM. The vortex plate helps even out hot spots in the cooker and helps prevent burning the meat.
