An incredibly unique mix of brassicas designed to grow extremely fast and produce all above ground forage that is easily accessible for your deer in fall and winter. Wingman provides special varieties of kohlrabi, hybrid brassica, forage rape, and turnip to deliver the best in both warm and cold season forages.
Kohlrabi produces a completely above ground bulb that is high in energy and can mature in as little as 60 days, along with highly palatable greens. It is supported by three different types of brassicas known for incredible leafy forage production. This is the perfect food plot mix for hunt plots from the Northern US to the South and does not require heavy equipment to plant. As you take on the challenges of the upcoming hunting season, make sure you’ve got your “Wingman” by your side to help make it your best season yet.
What makes Wingman great is the abundance of above ground food that does not require cold weather for deer to be attracted and consume it. We recommend planting at 8 lbs per acre. When planted heavier, you will get more plants but fewer and smaller bulbs. When planted at the preferred rate or lighter, you will have fewer but bigger plants with better bulb development.
Through rigorous testing, deer consistently fed through this plot from September through January, starting with the tops from September through December and then transitioning to available bulbs from January on. No matter where you live and hunt, Wingman could be the perfect food plot mix for your favorite stand location.
