How to Use

1. Prepare: Prepare workable soil for planting. Tilled, moist soil is best.
2. Place: Place the fully-closed spades on the soil surface at planting location.
3. Step: Firmly step to desired depth with spades closed.
4. Rotate: Rotate tool one quarter turn (90°) using handles with spades in soil.
5. Lift: Pull up on the T-handle, lifting soil out of the hole.
6. Release: Release the soil with a quick, firm squeeze of the hand lever.
7. Plant: Place the bulb, plant, or seedling into the perfect hole.
8. Fill: Break up the plug soil and refill hole atop and around the roots.
