The Redstone delivers the familiar appearance of a classic fireplace without venting, gas lines, or combustion. As an electric unit, it produces no emissions and requires no chimney, making it a cleaner alternative to traditional fuel-burning fireplaces.
Its included log set and clear crystal media create layered depth, while adjustable downlighting enhances the visual presentation. The result is a traditional aesthetic supported by modern LED technology.
Multicolor Flames with Flexible Ambiance
Modern Flames’ Hybrid-FX flame technology uses high-intensity RGB LED lighting and reflective surfaces to create a realistic flame effect. With 10 flame color options, 10 ember bed color options, and 10 downlight colors, you can tailor the appearance to suit your space.
Flame-only mode allows year-round enjoyment without heat. When warmth is needed, two heat settings and an integrated thermostat automatically regulate comfort.
Installation Options
The Modern Flames Redstone 42-Inch is designed for built-in, insert, or clean-face flush installation in indoor settings. Because it is electric, no venting is required, simplifying placement compared to gas fireplaces.
The unit can be installed beneath a television since it emits no heat upward. It can be plugged in or hardwired according to installation requirements, and detailed instructions are included to support straightforward setup.
Controls & Features
The Redstone includes both touch button controls and a handheld remote for easy operation. Users can adjust flame color, ember bed lighting, downlighting, heat levels, and timer settings from either control point.
Two heat settings—1465 watts on high and 750 watts on low—provide supplemental warmth, while the thermostat automatically maintains the selected temperature. The sleep timer can be set from 30 minutes to 8 hours. Operating noise is approximately 40 decibels for quiet performance.
