My journey to Huehuetenango, Guatemala, to establish a direct trade partnership with Vides58 was an unforgettable immersion into specialty coffee heritage. Walking through the high-altitude mountainsides and wet processing alongside the Vides family and staff, I witnessed firsthand the meticulous care that goes into producing their vibrant coffee. Cupping with the family revealed the brilliant notes that define the region's unique terroir. Beyond the exceptional quality of the bean, seeing their long-standing commitment to the community—particularly through the farm’s school and child labor prevention programs—solidified a partnership rooted not just in premium coffee, but in shared values and sustainable, ethical commerce.

Vides 58 is a third-generation coffee-producing family founded in 1958 by Dr. Jorge Vides in La Libertad, Huehuetenango, Guatemala. Starting with Finca La Bolsa, the company has become a symbol of quality, consistency, and sustainability.

Driven by a passion for exceptional coffee and community commitment, Vides 58 builds transparent, long-term relationships with roasters and importers worldwide. Every step of the process is handled with care, honoring the environment and the people behind each bean.

With each harvest, Vides 58 upholds its legacy, believing that quality coffee can uplift communities and inspire future generations.
