About Larissa Ann
In 2020, Larissa’s journey took a defining turn when she was commissioned to create Sergeant Reckless, a life-sized horse statue honoring Gold Star families and the military community near Southern Pines, NC. This patriotic sculpture, deeply inspired by her own military service, has since raised over $40,000 for non-profits, reinforcing Larissa’s dedication to giving back and her belief in “paying it forward” for the causes that matter most.
From enlisting in the U.S. Army as a young woman to her deployments overseas, to this latest leap into civilian life, Larissa’s art journey is a reminder that life’s path leads us where we’re meant to be when we follow our hearts.
