The front of the ring is a black glass gem, and the two sides are the iconic pattern of Freemasonry. The Square and Compasses (or, more correctly, a square and a set of compasses joined together) is the single most identifiable symbol of Freemasonry. The most common is that the "G" stands for God. Another is that it stands for Geometry.
