This hand-forged 12th century sword, named "Keurnbut" (The Millstone-Breaker), is modeled on Oakeshott type XI blades found in the British Isles. A full-length fuller runs down the blade in the traditional early Viking-Age style. It pairs a blunt carbon-steel blade with an ornate hilt and a leather-wrapped wooden scabbard.

Construction & materials: forged from EN45 high-carbon spring steel and heat-treated to 56–58 HRC, the blunt double-edged blade runs nearly the full length of the handle and transitions into a threaded rod at the pommel for secure assembly with the cast grip and pommel nut. Solid and durable for display, costuming and light reenactment.

Strong yet nimble: the spring-steel blade is prized for flexibility and durability, while the lightweight aluminum hilt keeps overall weight to 2.35 lbs (1.07 kg). The one-handed grip is wrapped in brown leather cord for a secure hold.

Scabbard & belt: hand-assembled wooden scabbard wrapped in genuine brown cowhide, with an adjustable leather waist belt.
