Did you know that flamingos get their pink feathers from the food they eat? While they munch on algae and brine shrimp, their body metabolizes the pigments turning their feathers that pretty pink color. If I turned into the color of what I ate most I'd be walking around like a perfectly crunchy and chewy piece of caramel colored bacon.
